Intro:
Research I did in creating a Tamasudare...
First thing I learned is that the name is actually "Nankin Tamasudare".
What is it according to Wikipedia?
Links to sources for the prop:
- Randi Rain (maker magician) makes one version.
- Randi Rain Rant over cost.
- Bill Cook apparently got his from MagiKraft.
- This one looks almost like ours. (But what is 14,000Y in dollars?)
Links to performances:
- CookJPN offers a class, if you happen to be in Japan.
- PopJapan has a very silly performance, if you are into that vibe. The one thing it does demonstrate is the use of a second Tamasudare by an assistant at one point in the story...
- EONET has the story written out with illustrations. (Not video)
- I kind of like the version that Richard Hatch does. (And a second recording)
- Randi Rain has a sort of stylized presentation with no accompanying story.
